Carlo Gavazzi Three-Phase Monitoring Relays Protect Facilities and Machinery
Carlo Gavazzi has been making monitoring relays since 1956, and are a market leader with their voltage, current and frequency monitoring relays. Their three-phase monitoring relays for voltages up to 690VAC, protect against phase reversal, phase loss and/or under-voltage sags. Some offer adjustable time delays to avoid nuisance trips.
-
Monitoring Relays are typically used to protect pumps, motors, HVACR equipment, elevators/escalators, trams, food and beverage production and dispensing equipment.
-
Devices without an adjustable potentiometer will detect regenerated voltage up to 85% of the nominal voltage (phase-phase).
-
DPA Series: Basic Function Relays perform a single function, i.e. Phase Sequence or Loss, Phase Asymmetry, Under Voltage, etc.
-
DPB Series: Extended Function Relays, which in addition to offering the Basic Function shown above, also offer an adjustable time delay, hysteresis and/or latch function.
-
DPC Series: Full Function Relays, in addition to offering Basic/Extended Function shown above, they also offer two outputs and two adjustable set point, two adjustable time delay and two adjustable hysteresis level potentiometers/settings.
