This particular calculator can calculate in two directions. By giving it today’s date and the expected lead time (with the option of adding multiple rows for manufacturing, shipping, etc.) you can see exactly when it’ll arrive. Going in the opposite direction, you can see exactly when you need to make the order if you have a specific date that the parts need to arrive by. In this case, you provide the date you need the part by, put in the expected lead time, and it will provide the latest date you can order them. Either way, this is much faster and better than counting days on your fingers!.
