For the past nine years, TE Connectivity has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index - this year for their work on their One Connected World corporate responsibility strategy.

“Each year, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index analyzes more than 7,300 companies around the world, reviewing their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. Companies that show strong commitments and progress toward strengthening their ESG performance are named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, which serves as a key reference point for investors seeking to invest in sustainable companies,” Engineering360 News noted.

“From our company response to COVID-19 to our dedication to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and our progress toward environmental sustainability goals, I’m proud of what TE has accomplished in the past 10 years. Corporate responsibility is a continuous journey, and I look forward to building on those accomplishments as we strive toward our One Connected World 2030 ambitions,” TE CEO Terrence stated on the company website.

TE Connectivity has also been awarded the Fortune's 2020 List of World's Most Admired Companies and Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality in the United States and Mexico.

The company’s efforts for sustainability include reduced overall energy use intensity by 40% and greenhouse gas emissions by 25% since fiscal year 2010 and collected 114,000 responses to TE's annual Conflict Minerals Report, so that TE and its suppliers can make responsible sourcing decisions.

The TE Foundation also donated $5.6 million to causes important to its employees and communities. TE's One Connected World has a roadmap for the next ten years to improve the company’s sustainability performance and set priorities.
