The Sealed In-Line Crimp Splice from TE has been designed to provide immersion resistant in-line splices of 1 to 1 wires ranging from 16-12 AWG with insulations rated for 135°C. The splice consists of an Insulation Sleeve made with heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride and Sealing Rings made of immersion resistant thermoplastic. Once situated, heat application allows the insulation sleeve to shrink providing a tight and secure fit.
